Sales Development Program: CJ’s Commitment to Developing High-Performing Sales Professionals
From August 4–8, 2025, PT Chakra Jawara (CJ) conducted a Sales Development Program in Balikpapan as a tangible expression of the company’s commitment to developing high-performing professionals, particularly in sales and after-sales services.
The program was attended by Product Representatives, Parts & Service Representatives, and the Commercial Sales Division Service teams from Head Office, Java Sumatra, and East Kalimantan. Senior management was also present to provide direct support and equip new sales personnel with relevant insights and industry knowledge.
The primary objective of the program was to deliver comprehensive training for new sales team members, covering product knowledge, sales strategies, and the strengthening of essential soft skills. In parallel, managers received dedicated sessions to enhance their capability in mentoring, guiding, and supporting new sales personnel as part of a continuous development process.
As part of the capacity-building initiative, participants also conducted a site visit to PT Cipta Kridatama MHU Samarinda. Through this visit, the sales team gained firsthand exposure to mining operations, providing valuable real-world learning experiences. This deeper understanding of field operations is expected to strengthen sales confidence, enabling them to offer more relevant solutions and respond more precisely to customer needs.
Through the Sales Development Program, CJ aims to cultivate professional, high-integrity sales talents who are ready to serve as the frontline in supporting the company’s future business growth.
